A number files from Van's are missing OCR on
some/all pages depending on the section. This mean's those pages/section do
not have searchable text.
In order for this program to highlight the parts you will need to add OCR to
any files missing it. A popular program with this capability is Adobe Acrobat.
There are many free online options as well, however they may not work properly
or have limitations imposed.
I have had good luck using online2pdf.com
Ensure "convert to: Searchable PDF" is selected after you have selected your files to
upload.
I have only tested the program with RV-10 files. Any feedback on other
aircraft plans is greatly appreciated. Shoot me an email and I can add a new list.
